3rd series Australian bar, demonstrates a proof-like obverse surface finish. It is the most fully-refined of all variety and a keen eye will note the letter "G" is unique as it does not match that of the earlier bars. The frosted reverse demonstrates two full hallmarks in an ascending diagonal pattern, characteristic of these Australian examples. Interestingly, this Engelhard Australia bar has a reverse 'Bull' Hallmark, with the semi-circle facing right, as opposed to the left-facing semi-circle associated with Engelhard Canada. We attribute this as a distinguishing trademark referencing the Southern Hemisphere.
